Covering the whole upper arm with tight metal bracelets or so will prevent her from using her elbows, as when the biceps cannot contract moving the elbow is difficult if not impossible

In "the old days", Maasai woman wore amazing coiled wire bracelets on their upper and lower arms (and lower legs). It seems they were able to do all their vigorous daily work just fine.
