a) It hurts. A lot. The most sensitive places to be tattooed are the armpits and the nipples.
b) Nipples don't colour as well as breast skin due to the darker colour and different skin texture.

I once met a girl in Nottingham who had her nipples and aereola tattooed into flowers. Her onetime boyfriend was a tattoo artist, and practiced on her, so she was heavily tattooed.

The black outlines stayed on the aereola but had disappeared on the nipple itself, something to do with the type of tissue not holding the ink. and the flower colour faded rapidly on the aereola. She said that she certainly would not have them done again because of the pain.

Looking at the pics of girls who have had their aereola tattooed, it seems that the ink does not hold too well, and soon looks a bit patchy. Are there any members with personal experience?

We had been thinking of having my wife's areola tattooed or colored, but even in Houston (4 million people and lots of parlours) we couldn't find a knowledgeable shop willing to do it. No one would tell us why, maybe they didn't know. One shop said that we'd have to go to a specialist as it was considered "medical/cosmetic" work.

But to verify that experience in a different way: we have tried to dye, stain, or color them on a permanent basis. "Permanent" markers done work, the color rubs off immediately on anything touching the nips: ie blouses. Another attempt was to use permanent dye for clothes. You get that stuff on your hands, and it doesn't come out: you have to wear it off.
But on areola: it's like water off a duck's back.

Again, I appreciate the comments, and likely, my wife is even more appreciative. Free blow jobs to all.........

jtiggr - I can't offer any help at all for your problem as to where and how to get them done, but I am intrigued to know what colour / design you want to make your wifes areolas become? Just out of interest really... ( I always thought blue stars right over a womans nipples would look pretty great)

Keep up with the search for an artist to do your design - If and when you do it, make sure you post a picture!

There is a Lady here in UK by the name of Rona, who has Tattooed Areolae .... she has a website & is contactable and approachable (just Google Club Rona) ... she may be able to tell you where she got hers done & her Tattooist may know of someone in the US who could help you & your good Lady achieve your ambitions .. (I'm sure professional Tattooists will have their own un-official "Grapevine") ....

There is also the German Girl,Veronica Moser .. who also has a website and she may be willing to help ... (always worth asking) .

At a push, there's always Creative Art Collection (CAC) .. just look for any pic of O'Pearl or Lady Madeleine for website details ... an e mail to them might just yield results ...

I wish you luck in your search and obviously .. we'd appreciate any photos of Mts Jtiggr too ....
