Don't let the name of this tumblr fool you

nipplesthatarehearts.tumblr.com

Lots of nipple tattoos collected here :)
Yeah, mostly hearts but plenty of other designs too.

For your convenience I packed all the pics in a zip (87 pics) :

http://nippletattoos.tumblr.com/archive" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - also a good source.

None of them are a patch on Kinkerbelle and her boobs which are works of art and sexy as hell.

Edit: By the way if you add /archive to the end of any Tumblr address then you get all the images laid out in a grid :)

Apparantly "Titooing" as it is known is getting very popular in the UK. It's not only tattoo shops but apparently beauty salons are doing it!

Sadly the majority have no individuality and seem to want love hearts. A bit like when
tribal became popular - loads of girls all wanted a "tramp stamp".

I love heavily tattooed breasts including the nipples but the "heart nipple" trend does nothing for me.

Do not let the word "Titooing" catch on. It's disgusting.

And you're right.... I think in chronological order we've had the following fashionable/fad tattoos in the UK:
  • Butterfly/dolphin on ankle/shoulder
    Barbed wire armband
    Tribal tramp stamp
Nasty tribal squiggle on the side of the hand (thanks Cheryl Cole)
And now to a lesser extent, skin toned nipple hearts (although I still like the different coloured ones).
Fucking "water colour" style tattoos seem to be doing the rounds at the moment too - another fashion which will date horribly. I don't think that they'll have the longevity of other designs.

Grayson Perry recently said that he didn't "get" tattoos because you can often look at them and immediately apply a date to them, he said it was like having bell bottoms permanently attached to your legs.

Following trends and fashions will do that. It's far better to go off on one and create your own sense of self and style like Kinkerbelle, Lady Ginch and others have. I got shot down by some ranty types on another post but I think a lot of the model types that are getting squiggly words on their jawlines/above their eyebrows are also falling into that same fashion trap.
