Great posting thanks. Never have I seen one so delicate. Does anyone know if surface piercings like that with rings would last, especially if they were regularly laced? Or is this just a temporary showpiece?

Sarob,

That is a really good question. Normally corset piercings turn me off due to discoloration and inflamation around the rings. This lovely lady has neither of those, which certainly puts her above the norm. I'd love to see more.

wow a total of 60 rings

and notice how they have all been nicely put in the same position in each row

to have perm back rings should they be deeper? , thicker? or both

That is fantastic!

While I do not have first-hand (first-back? :P) experience with corsets, I know from talking to artists and practitioners that unfortunately they do not last more than a few months at the most, and that is only if they are pierced with larger D-rings (which this girl is not, just regular CBRs for her), as the flat bar of the D helps promote healing, and larger gauges cut down on the "cheese-slicer effect". However, due to the location, they all will eventually migrate/inflame, so they are usually considered cosmetic, special event piercings.

But damn are they great to look at while they're in place!

Wow that's the most intricate and beautiful one I've ever seen! I'm such a huge fan of corset piercings even if they don't last.
