Hey,Whoah-that wasn't a racist comment. The same comment would have applied if she was making her whole body green. Tattooing of the skin is meant to be an augmentation through art, and I can't see where the art comes in to what is essentially a respray. We are all entitled to our opinions-that is why forums exist-but don't call me a racist. you don't even know what ethnicity I am!

I assume the racist comment was intended as a joke.

As for covering most of the body black; I think it looks cool. One can decide to keep it as it is, add scarification or add white ink (or ink of another color).

For some tattooing is about art, for others it is primary about covering themselves with ink. Going from a blank canvas to another kind of canvas. Tattooing doesn't have to be about art. Just as tattoos doesn't have to represent something meaningful, which is what many assumed after watching various tattoo reality shows. Aesthetics and simply wanting it should be reason good enough.
