It could all be a ploy to lure people to my site!

I have enabled hotlinking on my server...Perhaps if people could say what countrys they can see from, or cant.

I have seen all my photos "disappear" if I try to view from my vodafone mobile broadband device thingie....

anyway, if anyone knows a way to get them displaying please let me know... it takes ages to put them up and very annoying when they wont display....

I really dont know what the fuzz about Ms Hybrid offering discount to join her site? She runs her site, and shes very good at it. and this is why she should get something in return for it. She is not forcing anyone to join. To me its a nice gesture.

Things start to become very interesting!

After some research for Your unvisible pics
i tried it with firefox and "DOWN THEM ALL"
They were also invisible in firefox as well as in IE7 and IE8,
There is some Error 403 (means Access denied or so)
This seems to be some firewall issue or something similar
but here i could copy the link, AND: The direct link DID work, I saw it!!!
Thats a first step to success. at least it shows the direction
where the problem seems to be.

The 403's will be where I have removed some links while trying to sort the problem.

All the recent photo / links should work.

I don't understand how some see , some don't.

I use Firefox on macs but also IE7 and 8 on pcs.

Is there any way I can add photos other than hotlinking?

finally i found a workaround for your picture-problem!

The problem is the referrer
it shows, from where the link comes.
Hotlinking works, but not when the link comes from another site
if the link is sent direct it works as there is no referrer from another site

People who use a proxy often dont transmit it, so it works
In mozilla it can be switched off, but only for all sites, thats not good all the time.

I have also installed opera10 now, as there is a function to stop transmitting the referrer
and now i can see all pics ----WOW!!!!!!!!
