those are dermal punches wolf large gauge stuff, we`re talking about dermal implants here, still dermal, less "destructive", would be interesting if you could find some pics with a chick with dermal punched nipples, but i doubt it`s a viable option because of all the damage it would do...

I may be able to shed some light on the debate about what counts as a dermal. I went to my piercer today to investigate getting some micro dermal implants. She explained that they use a small dermal punch to remove a circle of skin to the desired depth, i.e. below the dermis. Then the base of the dermal (which is like a lopsided upside down T) is slid under one edge of the 'crater' and then back across until the opposite lip is also under the skin, leaving just the post sticking out. So maybe both of the views expressed were right in their own way.
