Hello, I'm totally new in the tattoo scene, but longing for my first tattoo. But I am a bit scared for the tattoo machine, not knowing how my body will react when the needle hits my skin for the first time.
Regarding the kind of tatto: I dont like the modern coloured types of with slim lines that are popular now. I resultely want to get tattooed in the real traditional way. So really Old School, with the masculine motives like eagles made up of thick lines in dark black ink, for which a tattoo machine with thicker needles is needed. My question: is this Old School tattooing because of those thicker needles more painful for the tattooee than the modern way? Has anybody experience with that?
