If truth be told, Elayne was inspired for both her Mermaid leggings and her development of the "Fourchette" by this book, which apparently is still available...

I know this for fact - I wrote this at the behest of her then husband Ira Levine (of Rolling Stone fame - finding the "real" Betty Page in a trailer park in Florida!), well before she married Alex Binnie...

If you want to settle this argument, find yourself a copy of this book - then decide for yourselves...

And what is it in the book that you base this supposition on? Her tattoo and babeinks are clearly inspired by mermaids, however babeinks is copied from Elayne's.

Are you or this book suggesting Elayne copied it from someone else? I'd add that inspiration and duplication are two very different things.
