PIERCED FORUM - body piercings, tattoo, body modification

So my husband and I have been debating my first piercing. I don't have any. I have considered getting my nipples done, but am more interested in my labia. So would you guys recommend inner labia or outer? And then what gauge? I'm new to all of this so any advice is appreciated! I kinda wanna surpris...
